About the Position:
The Direct Support Professional - Residential is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home, with specific supervision from the House Manager.

Overnight Shift (12am-8am) Position Types:
Full Time - Friday thru Monday (32 hours per week) Job Duties Include:
Assist persons-served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent Act as a positive role model for persons-served Provide guidance, instruction, coaching and support, in accordance with individual plans Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings Directly assist with personal care as needed Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties Assume responsibility for the safety of the person served including medical/medication needs Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as/if needed Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy Minimum Requirements :
A current, full, and active (non-suspended) driver's license for at least three years Acceptable driving record as determined by company policy High school diploma or equivalent Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
