IT Active Directory Administrator I

Responsible to ensure appropriate and effective Microsoft security under the governance of internal policies and procedures, as well as current regulatory requirements and guidelines. Duties include the administration of Active Directory user accounts and groups and the implementation of access rights for data, systems, and applications protected by Active Directory.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties
Active Directory Services. Responsible for security tasks related to the data, systems, and applications protected by Active Directory. Complete administrative tasks, such as new, change, transfer and delete requests for users, vendors, service accounts, and groups. Complete assigned tasks related to backup and recovery system processes, and other Active Directory services and functions. Complete assigned compliance related tasks, supporting access controls and minimizing risk. Ensure all communication, approvals, and process steps are clearly documented in assigned issues and tasks. Ensure activities are completed timely and in accordance with regulatory and procedural guidelines. Follow escalation procedures, ensuring appropriate communicate to management on a timely basis.
Assist management and other team members in documenting and maintaining effective internal control processes and procedures. Review and maintain documentation and procedures for accuracy, addressing updates and upgrades that present new visuals or processes for users. Assist with the effective security review of the security objects, operating processes, and technologies related to Active Directory on a periodic basis. Assist management and other team members with information gathering and other related tasks.
Associate Degree or equivalent experience. Specialty: Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (Required)
1 or more years Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange experience. (Required)
Prior User Provisioning experience within Active Directory. (Preferred)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
