IT SharePoint Developer

Overview
Provides assistance in the development, configuration, administration, and support of SharePoint sites. Collaborates with business units and gathers business requirements toward the development of web applications and communications accessed from SharePoint or Knowledge Management portals. Gathers requirements for conditional workflows to create efficiencies and improvements to business processes through the use of SharePoint technology. Documents requirements and assists in creating functional and technical specifications, test plans, system and user documentation. Assist with updates and enhancements to SharePoint infrastructure and sites, along with testing and integration of any related tools and supplemental web parts used throughout the production life cycle.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties
Assist in designing SharePoint solutions, site taxonomy, and record storage. Assist in building and implementing custom UI designs for SharePoint with various tools. Assist in creating and modifying SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies. Building forms with ASP. NET and InfoPath and SharePoint application pages. Implementing document and record center repositories. Maintain and support third party SharePoint solutions. Documenting solutions with Microsoft Office and Visio. Superior attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure. Provide operational, analytical and technical support for projects that impact and incorporate the use of SharePoint. Advocate the use of SharePoint to improve processes, controls and reporting. Manage or assist in the management of assigned projects assuring target dates are achieved and quality is maintained. Collect and document business, organizational, operational and user requirements. Analyze and define workflow, business processes and data flows. Assist in designing new business processes or modify existing business processes utilizing various SharePoint tools. Develop test plan, execute plan and document results. Assist in the development of training curriculum. Develop other project deliverables as assigned. Ensure that all end work products are in compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and security requirements. Provide daily administration and operational support for the SharePoint and Knowledge Management platforms. Identify and effectively work with current and new external vendors to provide solutions. Understand and adhere to change management policies and procedures.
Receive assignments from manager in the form of projects with general objectives defined. Keep manager advised of progress on all projects on a timely basis. Perform duties generally expected of administrative staff employees.
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor Degree or the Equivalent Experience or equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer science or a related field. (Required)
Required Experience
Client Side Development - Java Script, SharePoint, JQuiry and C#
Workflow SharePoint Designer - Black Pearl, Nintex (experiene is a plus).
3 or more years Solution development with SharePoint. (Required)
3 or more years Knowledge of JavaScript or ECMAScript, jQuery or similar JS libraries, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML.
Knowledge of XML, XSL. Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#. Knowledge of Visual Studio. Familiarity with source control integration.
Knowledge of image manipulation software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Paint.Net). Knowledge of InfoPath. Knowledge of software development lifecycle management with emphasis on Agile techniques and methodologies such as SCRUM, XP???).
Advanced PC skills to include most of the following: Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe. Some with SQL Server or other relational databases. Knowledge or familiarity with SQL Reporting Services or similar reporter writers. Project management and technical writing (e.g. writing Use Cases, Test Scripts, User Guides). Interviewing, listening, facilitation, observational, writing, interpersonal and modeling skills. (Required)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
